The difference in colour due to meteors chemical composition (dominant composition), interaction of the meteoroid with the Earth’s atmosphere (atmospheric conditions), brightness of meteor, presence of other elements (e.g. magnesium mixed with iron gives a blue-green or more complex colour), and preception (our eyes preceive colours differently at different brightness levels.
