UFO AND UNEXPLAINED ENCOUNTERS, Cypress Hills, SK and area: Part III

The following are UFO/UAP sightings and experiences from around the area. It should be noted that 75-85% of the UFO/UAPs are man-made, with some being piloted by artificially created programmed life forms, and the rest come from somewhere off-world or are transdimensional. It is difficult to distinguish extraterrestrial vehicles from man-made objects; however, man-made UFO/UAPs have seams and rivets, whereas non-terrestrial vehicles are more refined, with no rivets or seams. Non-terrestrial UFO/UAPs are manufactured using a quantum process where the vehicle manifests from the quantum vacuum, and not a labour-intensive assembly line manufacturing process.

Many sightings and experiences never get reported. In some areas and countries, the sightings are so common that people treat them like any other terrestrial vehicle. Those that get reported in the major UFO/UAP reporting sites are just a fraction of the encounters. Some paranormal reporting sites are only interested in the objects and ignore the subjective experiences. This is a huge mistake because these experiences are extremely important for narrowing down what it is that we are dealing with.

In this article, the sightings are derived from two sources: the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) and the UFO Hunters. The postings remain unaltered, and the witness testimonies are left to the reader's discretion.

Circle shaped objects composed of 4 lights - changed colours - moved erratically in the sky for long duration

Object first viewed at approximately 9:30 PM in West Block of the Cypress Hills, Saskatchewan near Ranger Station. A friend and I were stargazing, looking for satellites and meteors.

Appeared as a ball of light that shifted between white, blue, red, yellow and green colours. There was in no regular pattern between the colour changes; both in time between changes and the actual colour changed to.

Object appeared close to the horizon but distance was impossible to tell – aside from it being very distant (5km or more).

The ball of light was about the size / brightness of 4-5 of the brightest stars in the sky. When viewed through binoculars the ball of light was 4 distinct spheres of light. It was very hard to distinguish as it seemed to move in and out of binocular focus. The surrounding stars did remain in binocular focus.

Saw airplanes traveling at some distance behind the object. There was no interaction with the object. Also saw satellites in the sky.

Object moved side to side, up and down, and in J shape patterns in a small portion of the sky. Movment not like traditional aircraft movement in any way. No noise was heard.

Conservation Officer stopped to inquire what we were watching in the sky. Pointed out the object and he viewed it for a minute or two in binoculars before stating – “there are sure some strange things in the sky” and then drove off.

Watched object for 20 minutes before another one appeared in another part of the sky (also near the horizon) approximately 90 degrees counterclockwise from the first. This object was identical to the first but seemed more active. Similar motion but also saw it do a slow figure-8 pattern.

Watched both objects for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Tried to take photos/video with digital camera but nothing appeared due to the quality of the photo sensor. Went out the next evening to look for the objects but none appeared.

"I forgot I was watering my plants, went out to turn off the water. Before going back inside the house, I looked up in the sky to see what I could see. Then there was this faint outline of an object with 8 or 9 small lights. Wasn't sure what I was at first, thought it might be metorite fragments-no tails, concluded it was a flying object of some sort. Then thought it was UFO's flying in tight formation. As I thought about it more, it was a triangle.Appeared high up, approx 8-9 lights, possible almost inaudiable high pitch hiss, if I held a ruler to the object at arms length about 3/4 inch from one end to the other, lights white, faint outline of object, moved very quickly and smoothly across the sky. Reaction, I looked up to see what I could see, and I saw something. It was my first triangle. Seen lots of UFOs before. Lost the object as it faded into the background of stars."

"Unearthly Metalic Disc. My Brother came home after school sometime during May or June in 1972 and starts to exclaim that he needs dads binoculars. So i stood there at the top of the stairs with my hands on my hips and said, "Whats the matter, did you see another UFO, cause his friend had reportedly seen one the week before", so we found the binoculars in the closet and came into the living room. All of us saw it hovering across from the neighbours backyard, a small metallic disc shaped object. It was definitly not an airplane. So we hopped into my brothers '56 chevy and followed it along the side of the town we were in. Then it stopped above an old farmhouse which was approximately an acre from the corner of the hospital. We parked and watched it as it hovered above a farmhouse which had a tv antena on top. At that point we tried to become brave and thought we would leave the vehicle. It seemed as if it was looking at us and could hear everything on the radio as the radio stoped working while we sat there and watched. There was a beam of light that came fell upon the house and we thought we wanted to get a closer look and were discussing this. All of a sudden, to our horror it started moving towards us really slow. We freaked out sat there and looked at it and it suddenly shot off as if it were completely disapearing. My teacher and several other people had also seen a similair object, it has been in the local newspaper. If anyone knows about this or has seen something scimilair in SouthWestern Saskatchen I would like to know.((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. PD))"

Saw a bright orb enter into a thin cloud and not come out.

We were driving south from Gull Lake towards Shaunavon, SK, at 6pm yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny evening with several long thin darkish clouds in the sky to our left and right and one long thin lighter grey one at about 5000 feet straight ahead of us.

About 2 miles south of Gull Lake, we noticed a brilliantly shining ball flying north to south and go into the cloud that was ahead of us. The orb shone as if made of highly polished aluminum. You couldn't look at it for more than a second at a time or it hurt your eyes. It entered the darkest part of the cloud at the middle of the left side. With the cloud being so thin, we watched for the orb to exit the cloud, but it didn't.

We watched that cloud for the entire half hour drive south into Shaunavon. We watched as it slowly dissipated and we were directly under the cloud fragments by the time we reached Shaunavon. Neither of us saw the orb again.

"I video record all my flights. I had fueled and was going through my pre-flight checklist. On video playback, I saw this unexplained streak of light. It seemed too slow to be a "shooting star", plus it was in the daylight. The video is facing the sun, so it shouldn't be a reflection. I assumed this might be space junk burning up on re-entry, but frame by frame shows only a white ball, with no trail or smoke. There were no Iridium flares locally at that time. I did not witness this live, only on playback from my GoPro. This was filmed at our airport. Geographic coordinates are 50 degrees 01' 11.43" N, 110 degrees 43' 34.59" W. Our airport has an elevation of 2351 feet above see level. The video is aimed at approximately 318 degrees true/ 330 degress magnetic. I see a white streak in the sky, approximately 30-35 degrees above the horizon. In the video it passes from right to left (north to south), until it's lost under the top wing. I can't tell if it is rising, or simply passing from north to south.In the video attached, it occurs around the 9 second mark. I'm not saying it's a real UFO, but I certainly can't explain this.I do have a full length digital video saved, but it is only seen in this short clip."

"It was 10:30pm and I was watching fireworks with my 6 year old son from his bedroom. They were being set off two blocks away at our local Stampede grounds due to the Stampede being in town. Our local Stampede grounds are situated right beside local coulee(s) in the area. I noticed a small, green, semi dim orb (Slightly larger then a star in the night sky) like figure off to the side of the fireworks, remaining stationary, as if it was observing the fireworks. I averted my attention to the green orb, trying to figure out what it was. I've lived in the neighborhood for 15+ years and had never seen anything like it. Shortly after the fireworks ended, it started moving slowly towards the center of the Stampede before moving back towards where it came from, all the while changing colors from a dim green to red to an orange red. It moved out towards the coulees before making a sharp 'C' type turn followed by a 'S' shaped movement back over to the grounds. It did this back and forth a couple times at various speeds, changing the colors and moving in different directions very sporadically. Sometimes it would be red for a long period of time before switching between to green and remaining of orange red for awhile. At one point it emitted a very bright green light that looked like it had 5-7 various beams pointed in different directions from it's midsection and down towards the ground for a few seconds (None were pointed upwards). It has shot up a short distance above the grounds at one point, before 'floating' back down slowly in a STRAIGHT line to the same level it had been at before. Finally, it remained stationary above the grounds, emitted the very bright green light over the Stampede (Again, it looked like it had 5-7 different beams of light shooting in different directions from it's mid section and down, never in the upwards direction). It remained like this for a minute or two before taking off at a fast pace to where I originally saw it, turning back into a dim green light. It shot then off in a curve like line at a medium like pace over towards the coulees and disappeared behind my neighbors garage.My 6 year old son was witness to the entire event and he kept asking me what it was, as it confused us both. It definitely did NOT have the characteristics of any object I have seen before in the sky in the neighborhood, let alone anywhere else. Because of the small nature of the object and the distance, I did not pull out my phone to record it (A decision I regret). In total, the object was visible for approximately 15 minutes (My phone showed a time of 10:47pm when it disappeared). I did note that passerby's (I live two houses in from a semi main road) had also noticed the object in the sky, as my son and I heard someone shout 'What the **** is that green thing in the sky?' (I had the window fully opened for my son to listen to the fireworks). "

"I was in my work office and went into the office meeting room to drop off some things prior to a scheduled meeting. i was alone in there. the meeting room has a large window looking north across the south saskatchewan river valley. i was looking out the window and when i looked up i noticed a small white circular shape to the northwest that was moving to the east. my initial thought was that it was a small white party balloon being blown in an west to east direction (with the direction of the prevailing winds). the sky behind it was clear blue though there were some clouds in the sky. i could not see any other aircraft in the sky. the balloon seemed to be wobbling slightly and the movement was at a constant rate and velocity. i was wearing my glasses. my initial feeling was that it was probably 250 to 500m high (above ground level). it still seemed kind of odd and i wasn't sure what it was so i walked down the hall and asked one of our clerical staff to come and take a look at something. she came down to the room and i pointed it out and asked her if it was a balloon. she seemed immediately uncomfortable, said yes and quickly left. i continued to watch it for another minute or so. as the orb moved east it approached a large cloud. i fully expected to see the balloon drift in front of the cloud (between the cloud and me) but instead it seemed to disappear behind or into the cloud. now the cloud had the common various shades of white and grey that most clouds have so i may have simply lost it in the background clutter but it sure seemed to actually disappear behind it. i watched for another 4 or 5 minutes but never caught sight of it again. i subsequently went back to my office and went online to check the cloud ceiling and it was roughly 2700m. if the orb did indeed disappear behind or into the cloud it was significantly larger and higher than my initial impression (party balloon size). the sighting lasted no more than 2 or 3 minutes. i never discussed the sighting with the other staff member again. i got the distinct impression she wouldn't want to. my cell phone was at my desk at the opposite end of our office so no images. i sat on this for over a year until i recently retired. one other thing, if the distance to the object was indeed as high or higher than the cloud ceiling then the horizontal distance from my vantage point was also significantly further northwest than i thought, perhaps far enough to be close to or over cfb suffield, a canadian forces base and large tank range near medicine hat. the base is utilized by several nato member countries but mostly the brits."

" Two Round Redish Orange Glowing Balls Seen Flying Over City.It was 11:15 pm, Sunday night, April 5, 2015, Medicine Hat, Alberta. I went out in my backyard for a smoke. I noticed out of the corner of my eyes, two round reddish orange balls, almost looked like roman candle fireworks. They both came into view over the houses, They both went pretty straight up, Then they started moving from the south to the north. Both were same size, One stated going higher then the other. About 1/4 size of the moon, alot bigger then the stars. I seen them travel a good ways, before they faded in the distance towards Redcliff Alberta. It is hard to tell how close i was, it wasnt close enough to make out andy craft features, All i could tell was the bottom looked to jet engines facing the ground. No blinking lights, faster then an air plane which I see daily, just a steady glow. I was very shocked, but very excited. I have always been curious. I took two poor quality videos with my cell phone. I didn't think right at the moment. If I ever experience this again I will make one long video without zooming in and better reference points although it was dark out very poor picture quality. "

"Jun 11th 2250 [2014].Went out side to my verhicale to get my cellphone, noticed the haloe around the moon, very bright. On getting my phone I turned left away from my verhicale and looked up and noticed a very very small red dot appear about 40 degs above the imagined horizon, I watched for about 20 secs and realized that the light was now getting larger, ran inside to phone friend, came back out side and now the object was a thump tack size and went behind some trees and vanished.I went back inside my house and got my binoculars came outside and went back to where I was standing the first time I saw the light and realised I had not used my cell phone camara. Then to my amazement another light appeared from the same direct this time I took 4 pictures, 2 of them with flash, each time the flash went off, the light hesitated and proceeded on its course going behind the trees, I ran to my back yard gate and got the light in my binoculars, the light had now veered away to the north, I counted to my self 1 one thousand to 4 one thousand and to light was gone following the earths curvature. The following morning I went to one of my neighbours to tell him what I had observed, unknown to me he too had witnessed the same event when he let his dog out and he too has taken several photos of the first object light, he went inside when his dog was finished.During this whole time I was very calm yet excited that what I was witnessing was not of this planet, I severed 10 years in the Royal Navy,as a boy during WW2 we were trained to observe and report enemy aircraft. "

He said at first he saw 5 orange circle lights. He ran in the house and got his cell phone and came back out and took pictures of what he saw. He said there were then only 3 lights which moved slowly away and up into the clouds and disappeared. He was with his father and younger brother who also witnessed the same. We have no idea what it is but we would love to know! "

"Medicine Hat Alberta, about 8:15pm first week of November 2010, city center, a thin boomerang shaped object about 70 ft in the air directly over my head, above the trees, was quiet, but somehow got my attention. The color of this object was so dark, the same color of the night sky, only it blocked out the stars light, as to see the faint shape but no detail except the two lights. On the "right wing" at the tip was a small white light and a faint red light on the tip of the "left wing" this crafts "nose" was pointed my direction. The white light got brighter, the craft started to move from left to right, not turning, as if it was looking at me while it faded away, about the size of a small airplane, no sound, no trail, then disappeared over a condo building. I waited around to maybe hear something, see it return but nothing. Initially I though it was a plane, until I heard an eerie silence for how close this object was and the way it flew, there is a military base 20 minutes from the city (maybe about 40 from where this happened) and I am aware of certain aircraft that move differently with very minimal sound, which is why I called my father who was in this military, told him what I saw, and he said " you probably just saw a jet or plane too high up to hear it". I left the conversation there as to not look like " I'm starting to believe silly things", but in all seriousness, never had such a stunning moment, where I literally stopped walking and seen something that big hovering over me, flying unusually, soundless and gone in less than 2 minuites."

"50.011624,-110.621306T.J. and I we're trying to meet up for a smoke and bike ride. we met each other coming in opposite directions on a hill on ross glen trail near the ross creek. we we're on top of an escarpment sitting on a bench looking out at a bend in the creek. The railway ran between us and the creek but below the escarpment. We spotted what we thought was a plane up high but wasn't making any noise or blinking. I joked that it was a UFO and we dismissed it not really believing. I had the pipe out and was about to light it when i saw something my mind could not rationalize. i at first thought it was a giant hawk carrying a red light gliding down beside to our right at approximately 30 feet out and 15 feet above the ground. It was roughly 110cm long 75cm deep and 60cm wide.The top of the craft had a dome shape to it that hung over top of an under belly that was more square. Being that it was dusk (about 10pm) the color was hard to distinguish; id say a slate grey/blue. It had a red light in the middle on what i would call the front, or side facing us, about 10cm across. This light was not solid but more of a soft glow a bit like an ember but mostly red.Its appearance and movements reminded me of the floating robot (343 Guilty Spark) from Halo but with a red light. The craft descended at maybe a bit above jogging speed from our right periphery down and over the escarpment in front of us. It pivoted left and right while it silently descended in a smooth glide.T. and I knew this was out of the ordinary and followed it, but it had ducked out of view below us. We were stunned but excited. T.J. may have filmed it on his Iphone but it was quit dark out with the sun behind us. We couldn't spot the CRAFT on his phone but the UFO was below the horizon and blended in well. We had to go around the escarpment to see where we thought it landed. As we were looking for a way down we noticed a woman walking her dog and asked her if she saw anything and she said "you mean that ballon?" I scoffed and said it was a UFO. We biked to the next dip in the path and left the bikes to get down on the railroad tracks for a better look. We we're somewhat nervous about doing this as it was dark out and had a poor light, but felt we must to settle it for us. T. had his headlamp on at this point since we couldn't see the cacti very well. We finally got around to where we thought it must have gone since it wasn't seen leaving the blind spot below the escarpment. Nothing was found out of the ordinary. We are going to return in the daylight to see if we can find anything that resembled what we saw. As the experience set in, we both argeed it was probably the same thing way up in the sky maybe 2 minutes before. we dismissed it as an airplane though i subconsciously thought it was strange that it wasn't blinking or making any noise. I try not to be too paranoid so i never thought twice about it. "

"It was between 10-30-11:00 wednesday night. I went outside of my house to grab my wallet from the work truck when I looked up and saw what I thought was a star I hadn't noticed before. It was a large ball mostly white with a slight tint of yellow to it. I was starring right at it for several seconds when all of a sudden it glowed a little bit brighter, then excellerated away at an incredible speed until I couldn't see it. There wasn't any movement before it took off, it just hovered there in the sky just above the trees across from my house. No noise what so ever,no blinking lights like commercial plans have to have, and no tail light a comet leaves behind. I have no idea what it was, and I have to admit it startled and scared me a little bit. I really wish I had a video camera or a digital camera to have caught it. But it didn't stick around long enough for that"

"5 bright lights seen in medicine hat, alta. in the mid afternoon in 1980-1981i lived at the time on a hill in medicine hat, alberta, my apartment was on the third floor, as i was comimg down the staircase outside the apartment i looked to the northwest. it was perfectly clear skies, a sunday, very quiet afternoon, very little wind, i noticed 5 bright white lights toward that direction i had turned. it immediately struck me as odd, as there was nothing between the lights, just 5 bright white lights, seemingly attached to nothing to hold them together. i would say they appeared to be 40-50 degrees off the horizon, and seemed to be very close to downtown area, within a mile or so, that was the perseption i had. as soon as i realized what i was looking at was odd, i called frantically to my friends and girlfriend still in the apartment. and they came to see what the hell was going on, and also seen briefly what i was seeing. they were moving in a easterly direction slowly, no sound, no colours, just white lights with blue sky inbetween. the light wasn't so overly bright to blind you or make you skwint your eyes, much like a flashlight, but once again, early to mid afternoon. i've always described it like this...if you were to take a soup can with the lid cut off , and imagine a light eminating from the inside of it while facing you, that's what it looked like at first. remember , 5 of them in a triangle formation, facing me. as i watched and my friends arrived on the scene, which took them 20-40 seconds to get there, as they didn't believe me as i screamed for them to come and see this, the lights eclipsed and completely disappeared as they moved to the east. it was as if the angle of the soup can tilted and the light was no longer facing me, then nothing. absolutely nothing. i was amazed at what i saw, and as an avid flight and astronomy buff, clearly this was very odd to me and my friends, although i viewed it a lot longer than they had. we still talk about it all these years later. later that afternoon we found out that in fact several people had sighted it and the radio station was getting a lot of calls, and the newspaper the following monday had wrote a small piece about it, saying there were some 1000-1500 reports about the same thing we saw, by people in the area.the reason i'm writing this years later, is , i recently watched a program on television on discovery channel, where they talk of people seeing triangular shaped objects in the southwestern part of the U.S. and they were saying it could be related to the stealth bomber, the B2. one guy even had some film footage of the lights and possibly the craft itself, whether it was terrestrial or not, the footage was at night and alot of the sightings were night time sightings. or it was suggested that it may have been a blimp of some sort, and most of these sightings were in the late eighties into the ninties and into 2000. what we seen was in the late summer in either 1980-1981 in the middle of the afternoon, on a clear day with not a cloud in the sky, with multiple witnesses, and i'm sure if someone did there homework, it wouldn't be hard to find the newspaper article about it in the archives in medicine hats library, as i'm sure they archived the newspapers back then....((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the incident is approximate. Objects moved inconsistently with satellites, not linear, not up down left. Right? All over.

At around 8:03 I noticed lights to the west. From my house drove out to echodale and maintain contact and visual confirmation on object proceeded to follow them out. As far as I was capable went to echodale, regional park set at the outlook and watch the lights move from horizon to about 20° above horizon. I'm traveling in multiple directions. Some of them just blipping in some of them moving across the sky, some of them streaking. I have photos and videos. (Multiple)

JULY 10, 2019 9:38 PM (21:38 HRS) Pyramidal cigar shaped object (with dome) flying rather low in the sky for an aircraft, with no sound, color, wings or chem trails.

On the evening of Jul 10, 2019, at 9:38 pm, I was in my yard, watering plants. The news forecast was predicting possible thunder storms, so I looked up to check the sky. That’s when I noticed the brilliant pink colors which I had never seen before. The sun was just starting to go down.

I grabbed my Samsung phone and took a total of 14 pictures of the sky with the brilliant bright pink colors. I viewed the pictures approximately 10 minutes later as I wanted to upload the best one to Facebook. I noticed a “mark” on one of the pictures. When I zoomed in on the picture I knew this was not a scratch on my lens or an insect as there was a pink cloud in front of the object.

At 9:55 pm I decided to send the picture through messenger to a local journalist here in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

At 10:09 pm the pink sky was fading fast and the street lights were just beginning to turn on. I thought I would take a few more pictures in the direction of where I took the first pictures. The 4 pictures I took were a darker blue hue that still had some light pink clouds in the area where the unidentifiable object had been.

When I think back, I did not “hear” any loud noises that would have caught my attention like an airplane. I did not physically see the object until I viewed my pictures. It had to be going very fast though as the picture before (213806) was about 7 seconds apart from (213814). Up to this point I had assumed the vessel was travelling SW because the dome is on the right hand side. However, if the dome is the front of the aircraft then it could have been travelling NE in which case there may be a slight object in the picture 213806 which was taken before picture 213814.

The following day, Jul 11, 2019, at 12:34 pm, my pictures were uploaded to the Facebook page “Community TV” by the journalist. (The original picture & the zoomed in picture). There was a woman who confirmed seeing the object, which had no color and no wings (like an airplane).

Today, Saturday Jul 13, 2019, I came across a website that had a similar picture of a siting which was dated Feb 22, 2019, on the following website:

" FAST low flying silent triangle. Me and my girlfriend were out to watch the meteor shower, and had just turned off the yard light. We were both staring into the sky and simultaneously we both pointed and asked each other "what's that". We could see a large low flying triangular shap zooming across the sky heading directly south. I can't say how fast but I have never seen a plane fly that fast in my life and it was totally dead silent. At its closest point over us you could make out 5 very dim lights, or reflections from another light across the yard. The lights were all white it had one on each "wing" tip one on the point and one halfway between the tips and point on each side.We were looking north east as the meteor shower was supposed to be concentrated in that area, we first spotted the triangle coming over our bins approximately 100 yards directly in front of us. And it vanished above our house to our right seconds later.I am thinking it may be military as we have had Apache helicopters fly low over our farm in day time and people have seen stealth bombers during the day but at very high altitudes. We are almost directly North of a big United States military base on the other side of the sweet grass hills in Montana.I am interested to know how common a sighting like this is around my area, if you guys don't mind thanks "
